The Maghull West Ward by-election will take place on Thursday 20th February 2025 for the council seat vacancy on Maghull Town Council. Maghull has had a town council since the Local Government Act of 1894.
Maghull West Ward is geographically situated in the west of the borough ward of Lydiate & Maghull West (Formerly Park Ward 1979-2024) in Sefton MBC, covering the polling districts of B4 and B5.
Maghull Town Council is formed as follows - 16 seats in total on the council.
Maghull North Ward (5 seats - polling districts A4 to A6 within the Borough Ward of Maghull East),
Maghull South Ward (2 seats - polling district C3 within the Borough Ward of Aintree & South Maghull),
Maghull East Ward (5 seats - polling districts A1 to A3 within the Borough Ward of Maghull East)
Maghull West Ward (4 seats - polling districts B4 to B5 within the Borough Ward of Lydiate & West Maghull)
