Families in Sefton who are raising a disabled or seriously ill child or young person are being urged to check out a new fund that could help with furniture and household products, clothing and toys, family breaks or even days out.
The grants are funded by the Department for Education and managed by Family Fund, to help these families. The deadline to apply is 31st March.
Families will be able to apply every two years, as the child grows and to be eligible, the person applying must be the main carer for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person aged 17 or younger and on a low income or in receipt of income-related benefits.
