Formby’s Conservative councillors are the only ones making ANY progress in solving the annual summer traffic nightmare.
We have already funded more kerbside staking to reduce illegal parking. But much more remains, particularly regarding the inadequate response of the National Trust.
Conservatives are also seeking informative Yes or No responses from Sefton’s Labour group (as the official highways authority), over parking permits, yellow lines provision, increased fines, and the clamping and towing away of vehicles - all demanded by residents.
But if the answer is No to any of these issues, then exactly why not?
