A great deal has happened since that day in March, when our lifestyles changed so dramatically. Now as summer appears and we ease ourselves carefully out of lockdown we face the “new norm” with a good deal of optimism. Why? Well we are fortunate. We have been supported by some excellent local traders, who in our time of need were there for us. They reorganised their shops, they took our telephone orders, they delivered products to our doorstep, and they did not desert us.
Many of our local traders live and work in the community. They, like us, care for the community. It will be their skills, their investment and professionalism coupled with our custom that will bolster our local economy. Now, more than ever, is the time to continue to show our support. Shop and trade locally to develop the entrepreneurship that is so important for the local economy.
