The Liverpool City Regional Fund is a £500m budget with £100m in its first year aimed at, amongst other things, Help for our High Streets.
The Metro Mayor lists several projects which have already received financial support from an earlier £400m budget but local Conservatives can't see anything to demonstrate that Sefton Labour Council have bid for, or been successful in, obtaining money for projects in the Sefton Central Constituency.
It would be interesting to know whether Sefton Labour Council intend to bid for funding from this budget to help our local town centres in Crosby, Formby and Maghull.
Our Labour Council also need to explain to local taxpayers why they are continually failing to apply for external grants that could help our local communities and businesses.
