I am a married man, with three young children. My wife, Heather, is a Practice Nurse in a NHS GP practice.
As a youngster, I spent a considerable amount of time in Sefton making friends and forming a great affection for the area and people of Merseyside. As a consequence, like my father before me, I graduated in Electrical Engineering at The University of Liverpool.
It was while I was a student that I became interested in politics and joined the Conservative Party.
This degree, coupled with my interest in environmental issues, has enabled me to establish a business designing and making photovoltaic cells. These are used in the manufacture of various renewable energy products and play a significant part in making our country carbon neutral.
Whilst living in Liverpool as a student and subsequently when visiting the area I appreciate that Sefton is an aspirational place to live and work. Regrettably, its town centres have been neglected for years by your Labour MP who has failed to support bids for funding provided by the Government. Residents of Sefton Central have been ignored and under-represented for far too long.
The immense talent and potential of residents needs to be unleashed. A Vote for me, your prospective Conservative MP, is a vote for positive change and opportunity.
