One man went to mow…..
Matthew Lock, chairman of Sefton Young Conservatives, is an ardent member of the Party team dedicated to clearing up and enhancing public open spaces in Harington Ward, Formby.
So much so, that he transported his own petrol Lawnmower from his home in Maghull to cut the grass surrounding the landscape feature at Harington Road shops.
In the coming weeks, Matt and mower will be offering a cut above the rest at other sites in the ward.
He says: “It’s great to be of help to such an enthusiastic team of Conservatives doing hands-on work in the community. “Apart from giving the area a facelift, the shopkeepers themselves are very appreciative of what we are doing.”
