Following on from our recent success in the past few weeks through our clean-up campaign, we are now pleased to announce that we have a wide range of volunteers from Conservative members and local residents who are willing to keep Maghull a more pleasant place to live.
Both Town Councillor's are also beginning a new partnership to better co-ordinate our campaign with Maghull in Bloom, and with the help of Maghull Town council officers.
Recently the team maintained the A59 Subway that has often been a focal point of the Town, but where litter can build up. The team also litter picked, trimmed and swept the alleyway between Longfield and Deyes Lane. The main concern was the hedges which were blocking the alley. But the moss and wet leaves were also making it unsafe to walk through.
The team later tidied the grass verge between Eastway and Hunt Road, to fulfil a productive day for our clean-up campaign.
Big thank you to local Volunteer David Owens who responded to our plea for volunteers, our young Conservative Chairman Matthew Lock and our resident Maghull Town Councillors Tom and Ken Hughes.
