SEFTON COUNCIL’S POLICY ON THE REMOVAL OF GRAFFITI
We will aim to remove graffiti from Council property of a racial or obscene nature within 48 hours. All other non-offensive graffiti will be removed from Council property within 72 days. We also offer a service to remove graffiti from private properties. 31 Aug 2021
It is at least three weeks now since the graffiti scrawled on the underpass at Blundellsands and Crosby Station was reported to our local councillors. Yet it is still in evidence.
This graffiti is yet another indicator of the neglect, dirt and deterioration of the public highway. The pathway is filthy, putrid, damp and littered with leaves making the surface dirty and dangerous. The walls are caked in dirt and debris and need jet washing. The trunking holding electrical cabling is becoming loose and dangerous.
